Production Operator

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $17.50 - $17.50  / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Production Operator :

• Operate production lines, adhering strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for optimal product quality
• Accurately record hourly readings and all necessary process information, ensuring meticulous documentation
• Perform minor maintenance tasks to maintain line efficiency and minimize downtime
• Prepare and pack out finished products for shipment, ensuring they are ready for delivery
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at the end of each shift, promoting a safe and efficient workplace
• Safely load and offload materials using a forklift, contributing to efficient material handling
• Provide coverage and support to other team members as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

• Proven Forklift Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred

• Basic Computer Skills: Some familiarity with computers to assist with record keeping and potential system interaction
• Excellent Time Management Skills and Adaptability: Ability to manage your time effectively and adapt to changing production needs in a fast-paced environment
• Strong Attention to detail and Problem-Solving Skills: Ensuring accuracy in production and effectively troubleshooting issues when they arise.
• Clear Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills are essential for collaborating with team members and following procedures
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable Transportation: Hold a valid driver's license and have dependable transportation to ensure punctuality for shifts
• Commitment to Safety: Must be clean-shaven daily for mandatory respirator use
• Background check and Drug screening required
