Security & Fire Systems Technician

We are seeking a skilled Security & Fire Systems Technician with hands-on experience installing, programming, and servicing commercial low-voltage systems. This role supports enterprise clients and offers the opportunity to work with advanced security and life safety technologies in the field.

What You’ll Do

• Install, terminate, configure, and test commercial security and fire systems
• Service and troubleshoot CCTV, access control, intrusion, and fire alarm systems
• Program and commission IP-based video and access control platforms
• Lead installation projects and oversee field teams when required
• Track project progress and ensure quality control from start to finish
• Provide remote diagnostics and technical support to customers
• Deliver a high level of professionalism and customer service on every job

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience with commercial low-voltage systems
• Strong background in:
  • Access Control
  • IP Video / CCTV
  • Intrusion Detection
  • Fire Alarm Systems
• Experience leading projects or acting as a lead technician in the field
• Solid understanding of IP networking and system integration
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot effectively
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Nice to Have

• NICET certification (Fire Alarm or relevant discipline)
• Experience with video analytics, visitor management, or enterprise platforms
• Technical school or military training in electronics or communications
