What You’ll Do
As Director of Hotel Operations you will play a key role in driving operational excellence and team engagement across the property.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee day-to-day hotel operations including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Engineering
- Lead by example to deliver exceptional guest service and memorable experiences
- Support recruiting, hiring, training, and performance development of associates
- Assist with financial performance, budgeting, and profitability initiatives
- Ensure teams consistently meet brand and Colwen Hotels service standards
- Foster a positive, engaging, and respectful workplace culture
- Champion associate recognition and engagement initiatives
- Conduct daily property walks to ensure cleanliness, product quality, and service excellence
- Collaborate closely with all departments including Sales & Marketing, Finance, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance

What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of hotel management experience
- Passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding service
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proven problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Deep understanding of hotel operations and service standards
