Industrial Shop Helper / General Laborer (Fresno, CA)
Compensation: wages determined based on experienceEmployment type: part/full time
Material Movers, Inc. is seeking a shop-yard assistant / general labor person to work to keep shop/warehouse clean and organized. Day to day duties of moving,lifting, and organizing parts and shop supplies. This is a full-time position; $16- $18 per hour to start; with room to advance in position.Candidates must be self-motivated, reliable, and able to get to work on time everyday. All candidates must have a valid California driver's license and be able to pass a drug test.Qualifications:
Lifting 50 lbs unassisted
Carrying 50 lbs unassisted
Pushing 200 lbs unassisted
Standing/Walking 100%
Turning/twisting/bending/crouching/kneeling/reaching overhead 100%
Must be able to understand and carry out oral instructions
Must be able to count, make simple arithmetic additions and subtractions
Ability to use measuring devices such as tape measure, gauges, and rulers
Operate equipment such as autos, trucks, and forklifts
Work rapidly for long periods of time
Must have a clean driving record
Must have a valid California Driver's License
Must be at least 21 years of age
