Education
• Educated to Bachelors Level in Education or an equivalent
• Teaching qualification or equivalent

Professional
• At least 2 years’ experience as a teacher
• Highly effective teaching skills that focus on student learning and achievement
• Organised approach to planning, implementation, assessment, recording, reporting
• Knowledge of specialist high school international curriculum areas - employing constructivist, multisensory approaches and interactive engagement for learning
• Understanding of high quality and effective education strategies and resources
• Ability to respond effectively to emerging educational initiatives and priorities
• Demonstrate professional behaviour when interacting with families, students, colleagues and the wider Zibo community
• Ability to successfully organise and implement aspects of the co and extra curricula school
programmes
• Ability to be reflective to improve teaching performance through program evaluation and critically evaluating professional and personal practice
• Demonstrate understanding of the unique personal and social development needs of this student age group

Planning, Preparation and Administration
• Maintain a record of lesson planning and preparation
• Maintain comprehensive records on individual students and groups of students, monitor their overall progress, support EAL programmes and report to managers and parents as per school guidelines
• Maintain a consistently high standard and frequency of correction of student work with informative recorded feedback and guidelines for reflection and corrective action
• Collaboratively plan a framework of curriculum scope and sequence
• Collaboratively develop units of work and procure appropriate resources
• Work with coordinators to develop effective and regular assessments of student needs
• Positively contribute to the School Improvement Plan
• Positively contribute to programme resource development
• Participate in school leadership and management group initiatives, accreditations and Government
