Job Title: Welder and Fabricator

Job Description

The Welder and Fabricator will be responsible for building or manufacturing products according to drawings and bills of materials, maintaining production quality and quantity as scheduled. The role requires proficiency in using precision measuring equipment and the ability to confer with supervisors, engineering, and production personnel to resolve manufacturing problems.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate sub-assemblies and final machine assemblies using routers, drawings, and bills of materials.
• Understand and document changes on routings, drawings, and bills of materials.
• Perform basic work related to fabrication, welding, and sheet metal including structural fabrications.
• Assist in building prototype equipment and perform first part inspections.
• Operate power equipment and material handling equipment such as forklifts and cranes.
• Report shortages of parts, tools, and materials in a timely manner.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding.
• Ability to understand and work with both metric and inch systems.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lansing, MI.

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $56160.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Lansing,MI.
