Job Description

Our client, a leader in waste management services, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee collections across multiple lines of business. This role will manage commercial, residential, roll-off (industrial), container delivery/pickup, and portable toilet operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership background, ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance while driving efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead daily operations, managing drivers and helpers across multiple service lines.
Implement and enforce safety programs, ensuring a culture of safety and compliance.
Collaborate with maintenance to keep fleet and equipment in top condition.
Oversee route optimization to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Resolve service issues, schedule changes, and customer concerns promptly.
Monitor and improve missed pickup goals, ensuring service excellence.
Develop and mentor employees, fostering career growth within the company.
Ensure adherence to operational budgets, labor hours, and expense controls.
Act as a key representative, driving customer satisfaction and company loyalty.

Qualifications:

3+ years of supervisory or lead experience in operations, logistics, or waste management.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Ability to build and lead effective teams in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated commitment to safety, compliance, and ethical leadership.
Experience optimizing routes and improving service efficiency is a plus.
