Bright Water Waldorf School is seeking an energetic, collaborative, and warm-hearted teacher, committed to the ideals of Waldorf education and wanting to serve as a substitute teacher for early childhood (ages 1 to 6 years old) or grade school (ages 7 - 14 years old) students. We are a group of dedicated faculty and staff committed to Waldorf principles, mindful land stewardship, and providing our students with opportunities for dynamic learning within an inclusive community.

Bright Water Waldorf School is an independent school serving students Pre-K to 8th grade with a developmentally appropriate, multidisciplinary, experiential, and academically rigorous education that cul ti vates students’ heads, hands, and hearts. Our home is within the Japanese Cultural Community Center of Washington in Seattle’s Chinatown Interna ti onal District neighborhood. Location: On campus at Bright Water Waldorf School, 1414 S Weller Street, Seattle, WA 98144
Hours: Part Time; Variable hours from Monday - Friday during the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., depending upon shift needs
Compensation: $20.76 - $35.00/hour, depending upon experience
Benefits: Sick Leave – 1 hour for every 30 hours worked
