Special Education High School District Program Instructional Assistants -(Grant Funded) - 2026

Positions: Special Education District Program Instructional Assistants

Requirements: Experience as an Instructional Assistant

Description:

• Implement a two-day program through summer (program operational hours: Tuesday and Thursday from 7:50 a.m. to 1:10p.m. July 6 through July 30 2025
• Participate in a professional development program on June 29 and 30 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• Work with students from District Programs (DSC and Connections)
• Support all students including all parts of their programming (academic social/emotional/behavioral activities of daily living)
• Data collection at the beginning and end of the summer program
• Assist with program evaluation upon completion of the program
• Other responsibilities as assigned by the ESY directors

Location: Marshall Simonds Middle School

Compensation: In accordance with the Instructional Assistants contract (prorated in accordance with hours or days worked)
