Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Tape Edge Operator to support mattress manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for operating specialized

sewing machinery to stitch mattress borders, panels, and tape together, creating a finished mattress edge that meets quality and production standards.

Pay: $15/hour and up, Based on Experience

Schedule: 7am-3:30pm

Key Responsibilities

· Operate a tape edge sewing machine to sew top and bottom borders onto mattresses

· Align fabrics and materials to ensure accurate and consistent stitching around the entire mattress

· Inspect finished products for defects such as loose stitching or misalignment

· Ensure all products meet quality and specification standards

· Change needles and adjust machine settings, including tension and speed

· Perform basic machine troubleshooting, lubrication, and routine maintenance

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

· Follow all safety procedures and production guidelines

· Meet daily production goals and efficiency standards

Qualifications & Skills

· Previous experience operating industrial sewing machines preferred

· Experience in mattress manufacturing is a plus

· Ability to read a tape measure and follow work instructions

· Strong attention to detail and quality

· Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination

· Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Physical Requirements

· Ability to stand for extended periods

· Ability to lift, push, or maneuver materials as required

· Ability to perform repetitive motions throughout the shift

Work Environment

· Manufacturing/production setting

· Use of industrial sewing equipment
