Job Description and Duties

Under the general direction of the DWR Executive Safety Manager, the incumbent provides technical support for the DWR Safety Program by conducting audits, safety inspections, and accident investigations.  The incumbent will also develop and deliver safety training and serve as an advisor and consultant throughout the Department.  Advise DWR Management regarding safety hazards and Cal/OSHA compliance, ensuring the safety of SWP facilities, employees, contractors, and the public.

Special Requirements

Must possess a valid Driver's License as travel throughout the State will be required including overnight travel. 

Must be available to work outside normal business hours.
