Job Description

MAU is hiring a Territory Sales Manager for our client in St. Louis or Kansas City, MO. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will drive sales growth by building strategic relationships with electronic component and semiconductor packaging customers, managing the full sales cycle, and supporting promotional efforts. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Shift Information

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Required Education and Experience

  • Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree, or advanced technical degree
  • 10+ years in a customer-facing role (sales, technical sales, or technical service)
  • 5+ years of experience in electronic component or semiconductor packaging industries
  • 5+ years of experience selling chemicals

  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced technical degree (preferred, not required)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), CRM software, and SAP
  • Strong problem-solving skills and business acumen
  • Effective communication and influence in a consensus-driven culture
Essential Functions
  • Build strategic relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders through presentations, site visits, and quarterly business calls
  • Conduct lead generation and qualification through cold calls and targeted visits
  • Grow pipeline to meet annual sales targets
  • Manage full sales cycle from opportunity identification to closure and post-sale support
  • Develop strategic account and business plans for assigned accounts
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external technical teams
  • Support promotional efforts such as tradeshows, technical events, and advertising
  • Lead cross-functional teams on sales projects to close high-probability opportunities
  • Accurately budget and forecast sales on a quarterly basis
  • Plan and execute quarterly sales activity and prospecting visits
  • Stay current on economic and industry trends
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Working Conditions
  • Remote-based position with required travel across East Coast, Midwest, and South Central USA.
  • Applicant must be located in the Saint Louis or Kansas City, MO area.
  • Home office environment with regular travel to customer sites and industry events
Physical Demands
  • May involve lifting, standing, or sitting for extended periods
Travel Requirements
  • Up to 50% travel across North America
Environmental, Health & Safety Requirements
  • Must comply with all Federal, State, and Local EHS regulations
  • Adherence to company EHS standards and safety protocols is required at all times
