We are sharing a specialised remote opportunity for Literature experts to contribute their knowledge to a large-scale AI training initiative focused on improving literary analysis, interpretive reasoning, and culturally grounded text understanding in advanced AI models.

This project supports a leading AI research lab working to enhance how AI systems interpret literary texts, narrative structures, genre traditions, and culturally specific literary frameworks.

This is a multilingual opportunity , designed for individuals actively engaged in literary study or discourse within their linguistic and cultural context. Experts will contribute by creating literature-related prompts, reviewing AI-generated responses, and producing high-quality explanations grounded in real-world literary analysis and interpretive traditions.

Key Responsibilities

Author literature prompts covering textual analysis, thematic interpretation, author studies, and literary history
Evaluate AI-generated responses for interpretive depth, textual accuracy, and cultural nuance
Produce high-quality human-authored gold responses for complex or open-ended literary questions

Develop prompt variations exploring differences in genre, time period, narrative perspective, or literary criticism frameworks
Evaluate outputs across different tones including academic, analytical, and conversational formats
Identify model failure cases involving misinterpretation, shallow analysis, incorrect attribution, or culturally inconsistent readings

Ideal Profile

Strong candidates may have:

2+ years of sustained engagement with literature through reading, writing, criticism, or scholarly study
Experience writing literary essays, reviews, analyses, or participating in literary communities
Active participation in literary discourse in at least one of the following languages:
Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Russian, German, Arabic, Thai, Tamil, or Hindi

Strong familiarity with literary terminology, genre traditions, and literary movements
Ability to clearly articulate nuanced textual interpretation and literary arguments
Strong written communication skills and thoughtful editorial judgment

Preferred qualifications may include:

Academic background in literature, comparative literature, cultural studies, or related disciplines
Experience teaching literature or writing literary criticism
Familiarity with canonical works and contemporary literary movements within regional traditions
