About the Role:
We are a busy New York City pizzeria seeking an experienced Pizza Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate is skilled, efficient, and passionate about producing high-quality pizza in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, stretch, and cook pizzas to company standards
Manage pizza station during service
Operate and monitor oven temperatures and bake times
Assist with dough production, prep, and station setup
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
Comply with NYC health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
Prior pizza-making experience required
Strong dough handling and oven skills
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
NYC Food Protection Certificate preferred
