Bookkeeper

Our client, a locally owned business located out of New Paltz, NY, is seeking a Bookkeeper for a full-time opportunity. They are looking for someone who will be able to verify and maintain a set of financial records in an organized fashion.


This is a full time function that offers a pay rate of $20-$25 per hour.



What you need to get the job done – Bookkeeper General Requirements:

»Proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel is required

» 3 years of practice in a previous related function; legal bookkeeping preferred

»Excellent organizational expertise with thorough follow up

»A minimum of an Associate's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar field



Bookkeeper job tasks you can expect to be doing:

»Handling accounts payable/accounts receivable

»Reconciling and balancing accounts

»Preparing and entering customer invoices

»Weekly cash flow projections

»Bank statement reconciliations

»Verifying and posting transactions for subsidiary accounts
