Job Description

Salary: $95,000 - 99,403 per year Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field with at least 8 years of related experience or equivalent qualifications.
  • Minimum of 8 years in Network Services.
  • Proven experience in ensuring optimum availability and quality concerning network routing and switching, IP security, and wide area network services.
  • Capability to fulfill clearance requirements, specifically for NIH/CIT Public Trust.
  • CCNA/CCNP certification is preferred.
  • Familiarity with security protocols is a plus.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure high availability and quality of network routing and switching, IP security, and wide area network services.
  • Engage in daily stand-up meetings and apply the Kanban methodology to diagnose and resolve issues within established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Assist senior engineers by taking on shift lead roles and managing escalated issues to guarantee efficient assignment and resolution.
  • Participate in proactive initiatives like network monitoring, analysis, maintenance, patching, and thorough documentation.
  • Provide recommendations for continuous improvements concerning communication, customer engagement, tools, technology, and equipment.
