Akkodis is seeking a MuleSoft Developer for a Contract role with a client in New York, NY (Onsite/Hybrid as applicable) . The ideal candidate must have MuleSoft development experience, including DataWeave, Java, API design, and enterprise-grade integration patterns.
Rate Range: $59/hour to $62/hour ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
MuleSoft Developer job responsibilities include:
Design, build, and maintain APIs using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform following industry best practices.
Write and maintain RAML 1.0 specifications using API Designer and support API Management, including policy implementation.
Develop scalable, high-performance APIs and integration applications in MuleSoft.
Utilize various integration patterns across applications, systems, and databases.
Work with hybrid deployments and manage services using Runtime Manager .
Write MUnit and JUnit tests, supporting Test‑Driven Development (TDD).
Work with DevOps tools including Git, Maven, Jenkins , and CI/CD pipelines.
Develop and consume REST and SOAP services.
Follow DevOps, change management, and full SDLC best practices.
Collaborate in Agile/Scrum/Kanban environments.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience Required:
3+ years with MuleSoft development
3+ years with Java
3+ years with MuleSoft DataWeave
Strong experience writing RAML 1.0 specifications.
Experience with API Designer, API Management, and implementation of policies.
Knowledge of hybrid deployments, Runtime Manager, CI/CD, and MUnit/JUnit.
Exposure to CRM-related projects (required).
Experience with integration patterns, REST/SOAP, DevOps, and SDLC best practices.
