Responsibilities
Position Summary Read and interpret diagrams, sketches, and blueprints to produce metal products according to customer and company specifications. Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities - Assemble components in jigs or fixtures
- Align parts or workpieces to ensure proper assembly
- Operate welding equipment in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions
- Clean excess weld, slag, and spatter
- Verify conformance of completed parts to specifications
Attributes - Self-motivated
- Own operation and control
- Able to read blueprints
- Attention to detail
Qualifications - Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Welding experience with aluminum required
- 1+ year(s) previous professional welding experience required
- Welding experience with stainless steel preferred
- Post-secondary certificate, vocational training preferred
- Successfully pass internal AWS weld test
