Job Title: Medical Assembler

Job Description

Join our team as a Medical Assembler, where you will play a critical role in the production of life-saving medical devices. Work in a state-of-the-art facility and be part of a team dedicated to excellence and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize hand tools to assemble various medical devices throughout the day.
  • Perform assembly work under a microscope and be cross-trained at different stations.
  • Handle blades, cutters, microscopes, and maneuver small components and parts.
  • Work efficiently in a full clean room environment.

Essential Skills

  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Great hand dexterity.
  • Ability to understand measurements with rulers and calipers.
  • Capability to lift 25 pounds regularly.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work overtime.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Prefer 6 months or more experience in medical assembly or other forms of manufacturing/assembly, but open to entry-level candidates.
  • Experience with microscopes and cleanroom environments is a plus.

Work Environment

Work in a full clean room environment at a Medical Device Company. Adhere to strict hygiene protocols, including wearing hairnets, gowns, and booties. Wash hands each time before entering the cleanroom. The following are not allowed: nail polish, long fake nails, makeup, fragrances (perfume or cologne), henna tattoos, and pants with holes. Closed-toe shoes are mandatory.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $19.25/hr.
