job summary:
Growing systems integrator in the Maumee area is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to add to their team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and proficiency with Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks. B.S. in Mechanical Engineering required, as well as 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting. Excellent company culture and benefits!

responsibilities:
- Develop system layout drawings, assembly drawings, and detailed fabrication drawings
- Partner with internal teams to improve equipment designs and manufacturing processes
- Design mechanical robotic systems and components
- Generate bills of materials (BOMs)
- Update systems and equipment drawings and participate in equipment testing
- Work hands-on with machinery during build, debug, and testing phases
- Support equipment through fabrication, assembly, and factory acceptance testing
Requirements:
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks
- 4+ years of relevant mechanical design experience
- Must be open to slight travel for trade shows and occasional customer visits, around 10%
