Located in Truckee, California, Martis Camp encompasses a collection of fine amenities, including the Camp Lodge, Family Barn, Lakefront property, Lost Library, and a Tom Fazio-designed golf course. The Club provides a four-season experience with recreation, dining, wellness, and outdoor adventure woven into every aspect of daily life.

Martis Camp's Internship Program is a multi-year, seasonal work experience program for college students interested in exploring careers in hospitality, golf course operations, and/or private club management. Participants will gain work experience in all facets of private club operations, develop important professional skills, and make valuable professional connections. (Currently hiring for May-September 2026.)

Ideal applicants will: 

• Be committed to a multi-season work experience program so that you can experience all facets of Martis Camp's operations. 
• Be available for scheduling for all or a major portion of the program season which is anticipated to begin in May and end in August. Early/late arrivals/departures based on school semesters can be accommodated. 
• Be excited to engage with Martis Camp Club members and fellow Ambassadors to deliver exceptional service and WOW experiences in a beautiful environment. 

Applicants accepted to participate in the program will be assigned in rotation to positions in:

• Food and Beverage
• Recreation
• Fitness
• Spa
• Golf Operations and Maintenance
• Club Administration including Finance, Human Resources, and Communication. 

Professional experiences for resume building and skills development may be provided in functions such as labor management and scheduling; purchasing and inventory management; program design; retail operations management; recruiting and training; internal and external communications, and more! 

Wage and Benefits:

• Hourly wage of $17 - 19 per hour.
• Housing available in North Shore of Lake Tahoe.
• Martis Camp gear for all program participants; uniforms provided when required for the position.
