Job Description

CorVent Medical is seeking a driven and strategic  Marketing & Inside Sales Manager  to support and expand our presence within the  Rural Health Transformation Project  across targeted U.S. states. This role is responsible for state-level marketing execution, inside sales outreach, and relationship development with key stakeholders including Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs), legislators, state agencies, and grant owners.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with public-sector healthcare stakeholders, and experienced in aligning marketing and sales efforts with state funding cycles, RFPs, and healthcare policy initiatives—particularly in rural health environments.

 

Key Responsibilities  

  • State Strategy & Market Planning
  • Establish and manage key targeted states per quarter based on CorVent’s planned spend, market opportunity, and rural health initiatives.
  • Align quarterly state targeting with internal sales, marketing, and leadership priorities.
  • Assist and help close 6-8 state deals with commission paid out accordingly.
  • Event Representation & Brand Presence
  • Ensure CorVent Medical is represented at relevant state-level events, conferences, and meetings (both in-person and virtual), including rural health, hospital association, and government-sponsored events.
  • Coordinate event participation, messaging, and follow-up activities to maximize visibility and lead generation.
  • Relationship Development & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with:
  • State legislators and legislative staff
  • Healthcare lobbyists
  • State hospital associations and rural health organizations
  • Grant owners and administrators
  • Position CorVent as a trusted partner in rural healthcare delivery and transformation initiatives.
  • RFP Monitoring & Influence
  • Monitor the RFP process by state, with a focus on rural health, emergency preparedness, and Critical Access Hospital (CAH) opportunities.
  • Proactively reach out to key state CAHs and decision-makers when RFPs are released to educate, influence, and support CorVent’s inclusion.
  • Coordinate internally to ensure timely sales and marketing alignment around RFP activity.
  • Inside Sales & Email Marketing
  • Execute targeted email marketing campaigns to key contacts by state, aligned with funding cycles, proposals, and RFP releases.
  • Manage inside sales outreach to nurture leads, schedule meetings, and support field sales efforts.
  • Track engagement and follow up consistently to advance opportunities through the pipeline.
  • Reporting & Collaboration
  • Track state-level activities, outreach, and results; provide regular reporting to leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, leadership, and clinical teams to ensure consistent messaging and execution.

 

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in healthcare marketing, inside sales, or government/state-based sales
  • Experience working with public-sector healthcare stakeholders, hospitals, or rural health organizations
  • Strong understanding of state funding cycles, grants, or RFP processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple states and priorities simultaneously
  • Comfortable with travel and representing the company externally

 

Preferred Knowledge / Experience  

  • Experience with Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs) or rural healthcare systems
  • Familiarity with healthcare policy, legislative processes, or advocacy environments
  • CRM and email marketing platform experience
  • Medical device or healthcare technology background
