Start your new career as a Grill Cook with MAU in Anderson, SC. As a Grill Cook, you will support daily food service operations in a healthcare facility by preparing meals and ensuring dietary compliance for patients.

 

What We Offer:

• Pay of $15 per hour
• Temp-to-hire opportunity
• Eligibility for permanent hire after 520 hours worked
• Monday - Friday | 9:00 AM - 6:30 PM 
• Ability to work overtime as needed 
• Supportive team environment

 

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous cooking experience (healthcare or institutional preferred)
• Understanding of special diets (cardiac, diabetic, renal) is a plus
• Flexible and dependable with the ability to work variable shifts
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift 26–50 lbs as needed
• High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required
• No formal education required

 

What You’ll Do as a Grill Cook:

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes
• Follow dietary guidelines for patient-specific meal preparation
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met at all times
• Assist with meal service, including special dietary needs
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
