Job Summary

We are seeking an Industrial Sewing Operator to join our manufacturing team in Oak Creek. This position is responsible for sewing and assembling catalog and stock items according to product specifications while maintaining quality and efficiency standards.

What You’ll Do

• Operate industrial double needle sewing machines
• Measure materials prior to sewing to ensure accuracy
• Inspect finished products to meet quality standards
• Clean, oil, and perform basic maintenance on sewing machines
• Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
• Assist with special projects and additional tasks as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1 to 3 years of industrial sewing experience preferred
• Previous industrial sewing experience strongly preferred

Skills Required

• Ability to read, write, and understand basic English
• Basic math skills including adding, subtracting, and multiplying fractions

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
• Frequent repetitive hand and arm movements
• Ability to grasp, pinch, push, and pull materials
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs occasionally
• Frequent close vision and ability to distinguish colors

Work Environment

• Manufacturing environment with machinery and equipment
• Continuous and loud noise levels
• Some exposure to outdoor elements during the workday
