Description
SAIC has an opening for a Principal of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) that will report to the Sector FP&A Senior Manager. This position will drive timely financial analysis, forecasting and identification of actions for business performance in line with long-term plan targets and within financial risk limits for a Sector with ~$3B in annual revenue.
Remote possibilities are available to candidates local to the Reston, VA area.
Primary Job Duties:
Act as a strategic partner and provide support to Business Unit Finance Directors to ensure alignment of financial and business strategy, focusing on initiatives that drive growth for the Business Units and Sector.
Drive value through continuous improvement in the forecasting process and accuracy of the forecasts.
Utilize accurate and relevant information on financial performance to aid in the decision making of the Sector
Support key weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting deliverables that track and communicate the performance of the sector's key metrics
Identify and drive margin improvement in support of sustained profitable growth
Maximize cash conversion and drive net working capital and backlog forecasting across the Sector
Measure core initiatives across business development, capture, and program management teams, and model ROI in each area
Perform data reconciliation and consolidation, as well as variance analysis
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in accounting, finance or similar field and at least (ten) 10+ years of relevant experience working in the federal and/or commercial technology market
Experience with Deltek Costpoint, Cognos, Fusion, and BI Tools
Proficient with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Expertise in quantitative analysis and presentations
Strong understanding of financial planning, analysis, and reporting
Candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal customers
Target salary range: $100,001 - $125,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors. Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
