We are an affiliate of Merkin Vineyards and our team focuses on cultivating, maintaining and harvesting homegrown fruits and vegetables raised in our own greenhouses, gardens and orchards, which are located in the Verde Valley. The products we produce are used in our own restaurants and tasting rooms as well as supplying the main ingredients for our retail items.
We are seeking assistance to help cultivate and further grow this already successful area of our company. The job requires experience in the general practices of planting and harvesting in both a commercial greenhouse environment as well as outdoors. Weekend work is required.
The tasks related to this position include, but are not limited to:
· All aspects of indoor and outdoor field work
· Soil preparations
· Seeding / Planting
· Monitoring and achieving production goals
· Pruning / Harvesting
· General field repairs
· Safe operating practices and quality control
This position is full-time and paid bi-weekly on an hourly basis. $18.00 per hour, plus additional pay based on experience if applicable.
