Job Description

Job Title: Electronics Technician I
Location: Hackettstown, NJ

Type: Contract To Hire
Compensation: $18 - $20 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 7a-3:30p, M-F

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Electronics or equivalent experience preferred

• Coursework in analog and digital circuits

• Ability to read and understand schematics and wiring diagrams

• Experience troubleshooting AC/DC systems

• 1–2 years of related experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate

• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs

• Basic to intermediate computer skills

• Mechanically inclined with strong hands-on ability

• Knowledge of MS Office preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Detail-oriented, organized, self-starter

Responsibilities

• Assemble and align electro-optical systems

• Produce sub-assemblies for integration into final products

• Perform final testing and calibration of instruments

• Troubleshoot circuit boards using oscilloscopes and VOM meters

• Perform system interconnections from schematics or wiring diagrams

• Read and interpret detailed technical drawings

• Assist with in-house servicing of instruments

• Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area

• Perform additional duties as assigned
