We are looking for a motivated individual to become part of our facility's dietary team as a dishwasher. The dishwasher provides a vital role within our community by following established procedures for sanitizing eating utensils in a cost-effective, efficient manner to safely meet residents’ needs in compliance with federal, state and local requirements. Responsibilities

• Ensure eating utensils are cleaned and sanitized in a matter appropriate to safely meet residents’ needs in compliance with federal, state and local requirements.
• Operate dishwashing equipment in a manner consistent with the appropriate operating procedures.
• Live and support Sylvan Shores' Core Values.
• Represent Sylvan Shores professionally at all times.
• Balance the care for residents and team members with the cost of such care.
• Work in a manner that every interaction ends with a “thank you”!

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a skilled nursing facility setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
• Prior experience in a healthcare facility or hospitality environment (minimum of 1 year)
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
• Supportive and compassionate

Must-Haves for Role

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Reliable transportation
