• Start Date: ASAP, we have a new employee orientation class starting soon
  • Orientation Note : Our New Employee Orientations are held every other Wednesday, starting at 10:30am. You will need to attend the full day.
• Hourly Wage: 17.75 - 24.25
• Shift: 8 hour shifts; Days 
• Schedule: 7a-3pm, every other Saturday and Sunday

Our 120-bed Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) specializes in behavioral health , serving adults typically between the ages of 30 and 50. The most common diagnoses we support include severe depression, personality disorders, chemical dependency, and non-violent schizophrenia. Job Description

This is an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF). Our residents do NOT require skilled care, therefore your CNA job is a little different here:

What You’ll Do

At our behavioral health center (an Independent Care Facility or ICF), CNAs play a big role in helping our “residents” feel safe, supported, and on track with their psychological rehab and recovery goals. You’ll be part of a close-knit behavioral health team that truly cares and works together every day. 

• Support Guests with daily care and encourage healthy routines
• Help create a calm, positive, and respectful environment
• Work alongside nurses, therapists, and coordinators as part of a strong care team
• Be a steady, friendly presence residents can count on and help de-escalate behavioral issues

Qualifications

What we need from you :

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification in IL
• Prior experience or desire to work with behavioral population is helpful, but not required

This center is managed by TRANSITIONAL CARE MANAGEMENT. We currently provide comprehensive management services to several inpatient healthcare centers throughout Northern IL & the Chicagoland area. These settings include Long-term Care Skilled Nursing (SNFs), Short-term Care Rehabilitation, Intermediate Care (ICFs), and Behavioral Health Service (SMHRFs) centers.
