We are hiring a seasonal Leasing Consultant for apartment leasing in and around the St Cloud area.

Dates of employment will be seasonal - end of May 2026 through October 2026.

Job Description:

• The Leasing Consultant will show apartment units to potential renters, lease units to qualified applicants, and perform administrative duties for St Cloud area apartments. 
• Warmly greets visitors, prospective renters, and current residents.
• Provide potential residents with brochures, information, and tours of apartment communities and available units.
• Consults with prospective residents to identify requirements, their budget and then matches these needs with the available apartment in the community.
• Always follows up with prospects after initial visit to continue the conversation.
• Conducts background and credit checks and verifies other references as directed by Property Manager.
• Prepares leases for Property Manager review and approval; obtains signatures from management and residents.
• Coordinates move-in dates, materials, and processes.
• Prepares move-in materials.
• Assists with recordkeeping, filing, bookkeeping, and paperwork as required.
• Creates, develops, and maintains a list of promotions and discounts.
• Collaborates with marketing and implements strategies to attract renters.
• Understand the communities and its amenities, rents, and neighborhood, as well as those nearby.
• Maintain activity reports by recording traffic daily in the Appfolio system.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Previous apartment leasing or related experience required.
• Ability to effectively proficiently operate computers and office equipment required.
• Previous experience with Microsoft Office and AppFolio preferred.
• 1-2 years customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
